Tim began his radio career in Bainbridge Georgia in 1988, after completing a stint at the National Journalism Center in Washington DC. Subsequent stops on the dial include Augusta, Tallahassee, and Atlanta. Tim has also worked as a correspondent for ABC and the Associated Press, and provided commentary for the BBC and Radio New Zealand. Mike Wooten
Mike's radio career began when he was a high school student in McRae, Georgia and probably contributed to his lackluster GPA. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism, Mike worked in the advertising department of the A&P food store chain before returning to Athens as a news anchor at WGAU and WNGC. Following a stint as public relations director for the Clarke County schools and as a freelance communications consultant, Mike is back at WGAU, WNGC & WXKT as a midday news anchor. He's pleased to note that neither the wallpaper nor Matt Caesar have changed. Robin Reese
Robin is a familiar voice to Northeast Georgia. After years as the evening announcer on Oldies Lake 102, and over a decade as co-host of the Majic Morning Show, Robin is thrilled to be a part of the 103.7 news team. Its such an honor to work with the caliber of talent here at Cox real radio people. Robin freelances as a voiceover artist and copywriter. and currently do fill-in at Metro Traffic in Atlanta - traffic reports that air on various markets throughout the Southeast, including Sirius/XM.Attended East Carolina University, graduated from the Carolina School of Broadcasting. Also worked at WPLO in Atlanta, WLBA in Gainesville, WAME in Charlotte, NC, WSPF in Hickory, NC. Robin lives in Flowery Branch.
John Wetherbee-Weather
"Big John" has been doing the weather for eleven years, American Meteorlogical Society Seal and certified by the National Weather Association, the only broadcast meteorologist in North Georgia with both certifications. "I like to tell students I can guess better than the other guy." You may have seen him doing the weather on TV, most recently on Atlanta's CBS46. You might remember him for years hosting the Oldies Diner on the old Fox 97 radio. Today, John delivers weather to over fifteen radio stations around the country while managing his weather company. "That and cheering on the Red and Black."
