AT LEAST THREE DEPUTY JAILERS ARE RECOVERING FROM INJURIES AFTER A FIGHT INVOLVING 31 INMATES AT THE RICHMOND COUNTY JAIL IN AUGUSTA. SHERIFF RONNIE STRENGTH SAYS THE FIGHT BEGAN AFTER THE OFFICERS CAUGHT A GROUP OF INMATES GAMBLING FRIDAY NIGHT. HE SAYS THE INMATES GOT MAD AND STARTED FIGHTING THE OFFICERS.
