Gainesville Council Upholds Skateboard Ban

The Gainesville City Council met Wednesday, hearing from skateboard advocates upset over the city's ban on skateboarding in downtown Gainesville.  The Council voted unanimously to impose the ban, designed to keep skateboards off the downtown square and out of Gainesville parking decks.
